A Quaint mountain motel in the heart of Cashiers. Cashiers is located in the beautiful western North Carolina Mountains. We have 20 tastefully decorated rooms and cabins. Each room is equipped with cable TV, telephone, coffee maker, small refrigerator and are air conditioned. Most rooms are non-smoking.
The Laurelwood Inn is situated on the Cashiers Walking Trail. This is a nice walk that will take you around town to all the shops and restaurants.
We are Bob and Lise (pronounce Lisa) Dews and we purchased the Laurelwood in June of 1995. After spending many years in the “corporate rat race” We decided to give up the big city life and move to the mountains. The birth of our twin daughters in 1993 helped to prompt this decision! We are now living out our dream. Since purchasing the Inn, we have made many improvements to the existing rooms and built the log cabin suites.
We invite you to come and stay with us. Our goal is to serve you in any way we can to ensure you have the best stay possible.We invite you to escape from the daily stress. Come relax at the Laurelwood Inn.

Standard Rooms

The standard rooms have a double and twin bed or or one queen bed.


Deluxe Rooms
The more spacious deluxe rooms have one king bed or a double and queen.. The deluxe rooms also have a microwave oven or a kitchenette.

Suites
The cabin suites have 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room with gas fireplace, kitchen, whirlpool tub and porch.


Log Cabin
1 bedroom, 1 bath with loft. Bedroom has a king bed, loft has 2 twin bed. Can sleep up to 4 people. Full kitchen, gas fire place in the living room. Screened front porch with rockers. Cable TV and phone in the unit. Everything you need for your mountain get-a-way! Sorry but we can not guarantee the snow

  • Rates are single or double occupancy.
  • $10.00 charge for each additional person.
  • Reservations must be guaranteed* with a credit card or one night deposit. Cancellations must be made 3 days prior to scheduled arrival (7 days for suites) or will result in loss of deposit or charge to credit card.
  • *2-night minimum stay required on peak weekends.
  • *3-night minimum stay required on log cabin or suites during peak times.
  • Check-in starts at 3 PM.
